Magnetic catches

Magnetic clatches are those magnetic systems in which the magnet takes over, for example, holding or securing functions. Magnetic clatches are used particularly in the furniture industry. But they are also frequently found in mechanical and plant engineering and wherever extensive mechanical equipment is not desired or possible.

Our magnetic clatches ensure a good and secure hold!

The designs of this product family are just as varied as the installation situations for magnetic clatches: from round to square, made of plastic or metal, the holding surface frontal or lateral, damped or rigid, for screwing on or clipping in. Our range offers many practical solutions for installation or assembly.

Magnetic clatches with a rubberised holding surface have a pleasant feel and a muffled closing noise. They also prevent scratches or damage to the counterpart. The typical maximum operating temperature is 80°C.

Magnetic clatches for aluminium profiles can be inserted frontally and directly into the groove without tools and are immediately ready for use there. Profiles with 30x30, 40x40 or 45x45mm with 6.8 or 10mm groove can be used.

Examples of use:

  • Holding doors, flaps, covers such as cupboard doors, sauna doors, infrared cabins.
  • As a flexible door stop
  • Fixing of inspection panels or machine claddings
  • Holding utensils on the assembly table
