ContiTech Vibration Control, the specialist for vibration control, sealing technology, and noise insulation, named its suppliers of the year for 2014 at the Hannover Messe.
Heinz-Gerhard Wente, an Executive Board member of Continental AG and head of the ContiTech division, presented the certificates to the five award-winning companies: SAPA Profily a.s., Brugger Magnetsysteme GmbH, mbw Metallveredelung, MI Plastik PLUS a.s., and Shanghai HEBA Die-Casting Co., Ltd. "Our suppliers make a significant contribution to our success. This is especially true for these five companies," said Wente during the awards ceremony. "ContiTech can only deliver advanced technologies if our suppliers are right out in front in terms of quality and the power to innovate."
The companies came top out of a total of 180 suppliers to ContiTech Vibration Control. "The service they have demonstrated in supplying our plants around the world was very impressive in terms of quality, delivery, and development performance," says Christoph Dudek, Director of Purchasing & Logistics, at the awards ceremony at the Hannover Messe. ContiTech places great importance on close cooperation with its added-value partners and suppliers. Established partnerships make a sustainable contribution to technological progress.
Brugger Magnetsysteme GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of permanently magnetic assemblies and supplies the ContiTech plant in Hanover. The business complements and finishes metal-to-rubber elements from ContiTech Vibration Control with magnetic systems. The company was again selected as supplier of the year. "Brugger is definitely one of Germany's innovative companies," comments Hicran Hayik-Koller, Lead Buyer of ContiTech Vibration Control. "The company is a commercially successful producer in what is a high-wage country yet still remains competitive and works in a demanding environment in terms of sustainability and environmental awareness."
In 2014, Brugger Magnetsysteme generated sales of 12.6 million euros and has around 90 employees. Managing Director Thomas Brugger, Sales Director Sascha Bausch and Peter Görrissen were at the awards ceremony.
