Explanation of the symbols used in the catalog

The products marked with the symbols shown below have the following special features:

These products are free of plasticisers and PAHC (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons).

REACH is the abbreviation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. Since June 27, 2018, lead has been included in the SVHC candidate list (Substances of Very High Concern) with a limit value of 0.1%. This limit value is exceeded in some cases by the materials used in our products. The REACH directive stipulates that we must inform you to this effect.

RoHS is the abbreviation for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. The objective of these directives is to banish problematic constituent elements. Lead has a limit value of 0.1% in the directive. However, there are some technical exemptions. Annex III of the directives describes these. These exemptions apply to alloys containing steel 6(a) with a 0.35% lead content, aluminum 6(b) with a 0.4% lead content, and to copper 6(c) with a 4% lead content. Accordingly, all of our products are RoHS-compliant.

These products are UV-resistant. This means that the material used does not change when exposed to UV light. The features of the material and the colours remain largely the same.

These products have been subjected to a standardised test to evaluate the anticorrosive action of organic coating, metallic coating or chemical or physical surface treatment according to DIN 9227 (salt spray test).

These products are made of high quality stainless steel.
